Classical Long Hair

Classical long-hair Persian is the breed that is always in demand with us. This is because they are really economical. The classical long-hair Persian comes from the lineage of the Turkish Angora and they are very common as house pets in India. The tabby-coloured or tabby-patterned classical long hair Persian resembles the Maine Coon cat found in the United States. As a typical Maine Coon is not that readily available all-around India, and because they are so expensive for many people, the tabby-patterned classical long hair Persian really checks all boxes. The tabby-patterned classical long hair Persians are of golden, grey, black, fawn and smoky grey colour. All classical long-hair Persians, as small kittens, are very playful. Along with that, they are less hostile, i.e., they are not at all aggressive. As they grow up, they like to laze around as well. The classical long hair Persian comes in many different colours and patterns. The classical long hair is classified as per its fur type and as per its eye type. Also, there are odd-eyed cats with one eye of blue colour and the other of another colour like copper or golden or green. Then, with only blue-coloured eyes, there is also the blue-eyed kitten in this breed. Apart from that, there is also the calico type which means that the cat has golden, white and black colours. The distinctive feature of the calico, and one other subtype called tortoiseshell, is that both of them are genetically female cats only.
